Thomas is the President and sole proprietor of the company, and is a 30 year police veteran retired from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.

Among many of the various assignments during 30 years of service the last two were that of the Commander of the Organized Crime Branch, DC Police Intelligence Division from 1985 through 1989 and after promotion to the rank of Inspector, Director of the Audit and Compliance Division from 1989 through 1994.
